By the time I got my BFA from the University of New Mexico, in 1978, I had developed a severe sensitivity to harsh chemicals that made it hazardous to continue the photography and printmaking I did there. The pictures here are the first I made after a hiatus of more than twenty years.

I still have the same chemical sensitivity but digital cameras and image-manipulation software allow me to make pictures without contact with dangerous materials.

The pictures in this set were archivally printed as 11-inch by 17-inch images on 13-inch by 19-inch paper. Although all of the pictures in this set were digitally printed, the image files here were derived from the original print files rather than from photographs taken of the prints.

The pictures in this set are from 2004.
